I've had what I now recognise to be very mild Tinnitus for as long as I can remember, at least since the age of 6. It's never been a problem and until I started reading about it I wrote it off as normal.
But now I'm wondering where it could have come from. I can't recall ever being exposed to extreme noise levels. Could it have just come from normal background noise?

It could caused be an ear infection, teething, getting water in their ears or unknown. It's usually not serious if they aren't having any other symptoms and usually clears on it's on.

I sympathise! i have had Tinnitus since i was very young too. Mine started after i had grommet's fitted in my ear drums because I had glue ear. Also, as the others have said, reoccurring ear infections are one of the worst culprits!!
I don't know if you'd believe me, (I get it sometimes & since is not serious & doesn't bother me I actually enjoy it! I just leave it at that) but they say it could be a sign that angels are "downloading" information in your ears! I don't mean to be disrespectful or write this lightly in anyway but if you're a sensitive person, it might be true.
